After testing Vultr and DigitalOcean for several years, i tell you my experience.

DigitalOcean Pros:

Control Panel works better than Vultr
I had less issues than with vultr
I can store unlimited snapshots (but i have to pay for it)
It has a free good monitoring service!
DigitaolOcean Cons:

Support slower than vultr
Has less locations than vultr
Plans starts at $5
Doesn’t have too much locations
I can’t upload my own ISO
It doesn’t have Windows Server Support :-(
Vultr Pros:

Now answers faster than DigitalOcean (a few months ago DigitalOcean answered faster)
Now sells dedicated and baremetal servers
More locations than DigitalOcean
Has a $2.5 plan (512 MB RAM)
Has Windows Server OS Support!!
I can upload my own ISO!
Vultr Cons:

Control panel works worse than DigitalOcean panel
I had more issues than with DigitalOcean (Network and Instance issues)
Vultr doesn’t charge for snapshots, but you only can have 10 snapshot stored

I have been using cloud vps DigitalOcean for a game server for years. I think it is easier to use than Vultr. But Vultr is okay as well.

Absolutely. Vultr is better than Digitalocean.
Digitalocean is top cloud service provider. Recently, Vultr joined this group.
Because it’s price and performance.

Digital ocean cons:
High cost compared to other competitors
No good customer support
Strict rules
Average datacenters
No DDoS protection

Vultr pros:
Low price in High speed compute
Average customer support
Starting from $2.5 vps
More than 20 Global datacenters
DDoS protection available

Working with a good, reliable, and dedicated server always provides good performance for your website. I have tested some servers for my dissertation help (https://www.theacademicpapers.co.uk/dissertation-writing-services-uk.php) website and used Digital Ocean, NameCheap, and now SiteGround server. However, the DIgital Ocean server I used, was too worthy for my website based on website performance.

There are several excellent VPS hosting companies, but my personal favourite is VPS DedicatedHosting4u.com, which offers excellent customer support and competitive pricing.

Good question!
Personally, I have been using ProtonVPN for over 2 years (don't think this is advertising). Completely satisfied with their server and service.
But I also found out that a lot of outsourcing companies use corporate hosting because it's the only one that can provide stable operation for customer service outsourcing (https://mobilunity-bpo.com/customer-support-services/)  ::)
