These hosting companies - allwebhost.com as well as planethoster.com - are worth trying.
Their support rocks. Ultimately, you get what you pay for. I know first hand their support rocks, they’ve have tolerated me all this time.

VPS accounts from coinshosting.com (COINSHOSTING (50% OFF)) and legionbox.com are worth trying.
Qualified and fast support, which is always responsive and helps. Adequate prices and reliability.
Everything is done to make our life easier and it's not too expensive, so I recommend 100%.

Right VPS accounts are available from decent hosting providers: hostingsource.com (the VPS promo is $5 for the first month for all VPS plans) and hostsailor.com.
The service is reliable and reasonably priced, they have a very good management and they have taken care of our requests in a timely manner.
