Comparing VPS deals from libertyvps.net (http://libertyvps.net/) and hostround.com (https://www.hostround.com/vps-hosting), which plan should I follow as I plan to host a forum?

I cant say about prices - they are competitive and worth every penny. Libertyvps.net would be a good deal.
These guys have also nice selection of scripts. They go above and beyond what you come to expect from a hosting provider.
