Hosting for a personal resume site?

I'm building a small resume site and need shared hosting for it. Considering hostpro.com - does it hold up for something like this? I'd want daily backups and DDoS protection.

For a small resume site, any decent shared hosting plan will handle it fine, it is a low-resource use case.

Just confirm with whichever provider you go with that daily backups and DDoS protection are actually included in the plan that you are looking, not just offered as a paid add-on, some hosts only bundle those into higher-tier plans.
